Section 1: This organization is known as the Kentucky Deaf Golfers Association (KDGA) embracing
all counties within the state.
Section 2: Upon paying the membership fee and accepting the association constitution and bylaws,
any deaf man and woman shall become an active member.
Section 1: The objectives of the organization are:
Section 1: The members shall meet two times a year, first one before the 1st tournament and second
one after the last tournament on the same day. Unless a special meeting will be called by the President during
the golf season.
Section 2: A member must have reached his/her 18th birthday by February 1st preceding the annual
tournament and his eligibility must be approved by the Executive Committee.
Section 3: If a member have reached his/her 18th birthday by February 1st when he/she is still in
High School, he/she is not eligible for membership.
Section 4: Hearing persons of a deaf relative or a deaf spouse or work at Kentucky School for the
Deaf or work with Deaf community who can communication via sign language are eligible for
membership.
